Eastern Oregon University Athletics

During his time at Eastern Oregon, Tom Norton Jr. was a member of the EOU football team from 1993 to 1997. During the 1994 season, he was named Second Team All-CFA and recorded 60 tackles during the season. He followed his 1994 season with another 60 tackle performance the very next year.
 
Norton Jr. was named Second Team All-CFA during the 1996 season, recording 97 tackles, 14 tackles for a loss, 3 ½ sacks and two interceptions. He was the CFA Conference Player of the Week twice and was NAIA National Player of the week for his performance on Oct. 26th, where he recorded 15 tackles, 2 sacks and one fumble recovery.
 
During his senior season, in 1997 Norton Jr. was named EOFC Defensive Player of the year and a leader in the program as a Team Captian. He was a three time CFA Player of the Week, Football Gazette Ball West Region – Second Team selection, USA Football Third Team All-American and played in the USA 3 Martigra All-Star Classic. He recorded 95 tackles, 8 ½ sacks and four tackles for a loss.
