Eastern Oregon University Athletics

Gary graduated from Eastern in 1956 and later earned graduate degrees from the University of Oregon and Western Colorado University. He was a starter in three sports- football, basketball and baseball -- during his freshman year at Eastern. He played baseball for two more seasons and basketball for three years until a knew injury stopped his playing career. He was an All-Conference performer in all three sports.
