 April Haney competed in the throws events from 1997 to 2001. She was a five-time Cascade Collegiate Conference champion in shot put and discus, a 14-time All-American (10 in NAIA, and four in NCAA Div. 3) and the 2001 indoor national champion in the 35-pound weight throw. Haney earned her Bachelor of Science, Physical Education and Health in 2001.
