Eastern Oregon University Athletics

A member of the 1976 class, Vaughn was a player on the Blue and Gold football team from 1973-1976. During his playing time under Hall of Fame head coach Lee Insko, Vaughn reaped all-conference and district honors and made both the NAIA All-Star and All-Northwest teams. He was ultimately voted Most Valuable Lineman.  
 
Gary received his bachelor's degree in business in 1976 and went on to earn a law degree in 1979. Gary currently resides in the city of La Grande and is employed by the Union Pacific Railroad.
