PENDLETON, Ore. - The Eastern Oregon Mountaineers (1-27) continued their conference series against the University of British Columbia Thunderbirds (21-15) in Pendleton, Ore. on Sunday due to weather in La Grande. Game one went to the Thunderbirds in a seven inning 12-0 win. Game two was a similar story as it was another seven-inning game that went to UBC 18-3. EOU looks ahead to Tuesday, April 4, for a non-conference matchup in Walla Walla, WA, against D3 opponent, Whitman College. First pitch is scheduled for 3 p.m. at Murr Sports Field.
GAME 1
The seven-inning game went to the Thunderbirds as three home runs helped lift them over the Mounties 12-0.
Elliott Marks and
Mario Landeros were responsible for the two lone EOU hits. Eastern limited themselves to one error, along with holding UBC scoreless for three of the seven innings.

Another seven-inning game went to the Thunderbirds 18-3 to wrap up the series. UBC added two more home runs to build on their lead. The Mounties battled with
Joey Freitas and
Justin Duso earning some RBIs to help keep EOU in the game, but it wasn't enough.
Danny Burns added two strikeouts and had zero errors and zero walks on the mound for the Mounties.
