2024 • Junior: Started 13 games for the Mounties... Pitched 70.1 innings in his junior season... Had an earned run average of 6.53. 

2023 • Sophomore: Pitched 27.0 innings for the Mounties in the 2023 season.

In High School: Cordes graduated from Castle View High School in 2021. He wrestled, played football, basketball, baseball, and ran track. He was awarded first team all-league for wrestling and baseball. 

Before EOU: Cordes attended Hesston College where he played baseball and broke the all time single season strikeout record. 

Off the Field: Cordes is son of Derek and Michelle and brother of Alexa and Davin. He enjoys hunting, fishing, and camping.
