In High School: Was a three-sport athlete at Caldwell High School … Played baseball under Coach John Rezendes … Batted .300 one season and threw out 25 baserunners the same year … Helped lead his team to a State Quarterfinals appearance in his senior season … Also competed in football and wrestling.
