ELLENSBURG, Wash. - Eastern Oregon (1-28) traveled up to Ellensburg, Washington for a mid-week non-conference match up against D2 opponent, Central Washington University (15-22) on Tuesday. The Wildcats took the lone game 7-3. EOU now looks ahead to this weekend when they host Lewis-Clark State at Optimist Field. First pitch is set for Saturday, April 15th, at 12 p.m. in La Grande.
GAME 1
Coming off a free weekend, EOU attempted a late game rally over CWU. However, a first inning, three-run homer for the Wildcats was just enough to hold the lead over the Mounties. The Wildcats took the only game of the day 7-3.
Justin Duso had two RBIs to lead the Mounties offensively.
Youhyeon Choi swiped another stolen base to put him at 13 overall this season which is nine away from cracking the top 10 in the EOU record book.
