CORVALLIS, Ore. – With the regular season concluded, Eastern Oregon University baseball collected Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) All-Conference honors, led by Jace Nagler, who was named Player of the Year, and Tucker Zander, who earned a Golden Glove distinction.

In his first season with the Mountaineers, junior transfer Nagler made an immediate and dominant impact, starting all 47 games. He led the offense with a .389 batting average, collecting 68 hits in 175 at-bats. His production at the plate included 15 doubles, three triples, and 14 home runs, driving in 43 RBIs while posting an impressive .749 slugging percentage.

Nagler was both powerful and disciplined at the plate, drawing 35 walks and being hit by pitches 11 times to finish with a .507 on-base percentage. He also showcased speed on the bases, scoring 54 runs and stealing 20 bases.

Defensively, Nagler anchored the infield at shortstop, recording 70 putouts and 145 assists while turning 27 double plays. He finished the season with a .956 fielding percentage and played a key role in leading the team to a ninth-ranked national defense, highlighted by an overall .971 fielding percentage.

Among conference leaders, Nagler ranked third in batting average and tied for first in home runs, solidifying his place as one of the CCC's most complete players. His consistent production throughout the season earned him Player of the Year honors and First Team All-CCC recognition.

Additionally, senior Tucker Zander earned recognition for his defensive excellence, receiving the CCC Gold Glove at second base in his final season. He recorded 60 putouts and 100 assists, helped turn 23 double plays, and committed just one error—finishing with an impressive .994 fielding percentage.
