LA GRANDE, Ore.- The Eastern Oregon Mountaineers (1-32) wrapped up their series against the Lewis-Clark State College Warriors (26-12) Sunday afternoon in La Grande. LCSC was able to take both games. Game one was a defensive battle where the Warriors finished on top 5-4. Game two also went to LCSC 24-3. EOU now looks ahead to next weekend where they will travel to Salem, Oregon to face fellow CCC opponent, Corban University on Saturday April 22nd, at 12 and 3 p.m.

GAME 1
Game one went to the Warriors 5-4 as they were able to hold off a Mountie comeback attempt.
Austin Gerding added his second homer of the series and season, bringing in
Joey Freitas and
Justin Frederick which put EOU within one for three of Eastern's four runs. It wasn't enough to overcome the Warrior's five runs thanks to a couple of homers off the bats of Nick Seamons and Pu'ukani De Sa.

LCSC's bats came alive at the plate lifting them to a seven inning 24-3 win over EOU for the Warrior's highest scoring game of the year.
Youhyeon Choi went 2-4 at the plate with two RBIs to help the Mounties get on the board. Jakob Marquez added to his stellar weekend with two more homers and three RBIs.
