KEIZER, Ore.- The Eastern Oregon Mountaineers (2-33) traveled to the west side of the state to take on the Corban University Warriors (14-26) in CCC play. The Mounties and the Warriors split the day. Corban took game one in a 8-2 win. Eastern rallied and snagged game two, 5-1. Action will resume tomorrow in another double header at 11 a.m and 2 p.m. back at Volcanoes Stadium in Keizer, Oregon.
GAME 1
Game one went to the Warriors as they were able to edge out the Mounties  in an 8-2 win. Noah Mayfield and Justin Frederick each tossed in an RBI to help get EOU on the board. EOU battled holding Corban to five scoreless innings but their 11 hits was just enough to come back and take the game.

STANDOUT PERFORMANCES
 
GAME 2 
Eastern rallied grabbing their second win of the season. EOU went up first and held the lead, Slayder Watterson and Alex Farnsworth collectively tossed in 10 strikeouts which is a season high for the Mounties. On the offensive side Youhyeon Choi went 2-4 putting up his first EOU homerun along with another RBI to add the the Mounties lead. EOU had five RBIs and one sacrifice hit by Adrian Roa.
