NEW ORLEANS, LA — The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) has announced its
2026 NAIA All-Academic Teams and All-Academic Individuals, recognizing collegiate track & field programs and student-athletes who demonstrated excellence both in the classroom and in competition. Eastern Oregon University was well represented, as both the men's and women's programs earned All-Academic Team honors.
To qualify for USTFCCCA All-Academic Individual recognition, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.25 on a 4.0 scale while also qualifying for the NAIA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships.
The Eastern Oregon men's team posted a cumulative 3.31 GPA to earn All-Academic Team recognition, while nine Mountaineers received individual All-Academic honors:
The Eastern Oregon women's team earned All-Academic Team recognition with an impressive 3.46 cumulative GPA. Eight Mountaineers were also recognized as All-Academic Individuals:
The recognition underscores Eastern Oregon's commitment to excellence in both academics and athletics. By earning All-Academic Team honors and producing 17 individual All-Academic selections, the Mountaineers continue to exemplify the university's tradition of developing student-athletes who succeed at the highest levels in the classroom and on the track.
