MARION, Ind. - Eastern Oregon took on day one of the 2025 NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Wednesday, battling against top competition in the NAIA this season.

Women's Track:
1500-Meter: Riley Morris placed 10th with a time of 4:39.08
400-Meter Hurdles: Skotlyn Hill placed 5th with a time of 1:01.14
4x800-Meter Relay: Carlee Jensen, Mattie Woodbury, Skotlyn Hill, and Riley Morris took 11th with a time of 9:26.72
3000-Meter Steeplechase: Sadie McCoy placed 11th with a time of 11:23.46
Women's Field: 
Javelin: Adrienne Washington earned a 21st place finish with a throw of 36.44 meters

Multi Events:
Decathlon: Justin Krabbenhoft starts off day one strong, sitting in second on day 1 with 3,786 points
Heptathlon: Adrienne Washington starts off day one sitting at 7th with 2,856 points

Men's Track:
400-Meter Hurdles: Bryson Spears placed 22nd with a time of 54.87
3000-meter steeplechase: George Showers placed 4th with a time of 9:20.54 followed by Justin Ash finishing in 8th place with a time of 9:23.29 respectfully.

Men's Field:
Hammer Throw: Mark Church placed 17th with throw of 54.51 meters 

The Mountaineers will return to action tomorrow at Indiana Wesleyan University for day two of NAIA National Championship competition.
