Mountaineers Capture Fifth Straight CCC Men’s Track & Field Title

ASHLAND, Ore. – Eastern Oregon University track and field closed out a dominant weekend at Raider Stadium by claiming the 2025 Cascade Collegiate Conference Men's Track and Field Championship, presented by U.S. Bank, for the fifth consecutive year. The Mountaineers totaled 203 points to secure the team title, bolstered by a wave of individual victories, national qualifying performances, and postseason honors.

Justin Krabbenhoft was named the CCC Men's Most Valuable Performer after scoring 32.5 points across multiple events, including a win in the 110-meter hurdles and anchoring the Mountaineers' championship-winning 4x400-meter relay. The team of Krabbenhoft, Giacomo Riguerio, Reuben Manzer, and Osman Osman took first in the relay with a time of 3:13.95, meeting the NAIA "A" Standard and ranking No. 18 nationally.

Justin Ash earned CCC Outstanding Track Performer of the Meet honors after winning the 3000-meter steeplechase on Friday in 9:12.73 to hit the NAIA "A" Standard, and contributing valuable points in the 5000 meters on Saturday. Head coach Ben Welch was named CCC Men's Coach of the Year, guiding the Mounties to their fifth straight team crown.

Eastern Oregon picked up multiple event victories on day two to pull away in the standings. Osman Osman captured the men's 200 meters in 21.76 seconds, while freshman Austin Uhl added a title in the men's 800 meters, clocking 1:52.35. In the field, Tanner Nett delivered a standout performance in the men's shot put, winning with a throw of 17.21 meters to meet the NAIA "A" Standard. Mark Church claimed the men's discus crown with a toss of 49.33 meters, meeting the NAIA "B" Standard. Tyler Jones earned the win in the men's high jump with a clearance of 2.03 meters.

On the women's side, Adrienne Washington was named the CCC Women's Most Valuable Performer after scoring 35 points across several events. She claimed the long jump title with a mark of 5.94 meters to meet the NAIA "A" Standard and added a second-place finish in the javelin at 43.21 meters, also hitting the "A" mark. Skotlyn Hill secured another conference title for EOU with a dominant run in the 400-meter hurdles, finishing in 1:01.11 to surpass the "A" Standard and rank No. 8 nationally.

Eastern Oregon's women's team placed third overall with 125.5 points, capping an impressive all-around performance at the 2025 CCC Championships.

The Mountaineers now shift their focus to the NAIA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships, set for May 21–23 at Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana.
