LA GRANDE, Ore. – Eastern Oregon University senior Justin Krabbenhoft has been named the Cascade Collegiate Conference Men's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week, the league office announced Monday.
Krabbenhoft, a native of Metaline Falls, Wash., earned the honor following a dominant performance at the 2025 CCC Multi-Event Championships, presented by U.S. Bank. Competing in Klamath Falls, Ore., the Mountaineer standout claimed the decathlon title with a personal-best 6,623 points—winning by a margin of 480 points.
Krabbenhoft led wire to wire in the two-day event, highlighted by first-place finishes in the 110-meter hurdles (15.60), pole vault (4.30m), and javelin (45.12m) on day two. He also placed fifth in the discus (29.89m) and eighth in the 1500 meters (5:20.08) to close out the meet.
The weekly conference honor marks the second of the season for Krabbenhoft.
