LA GRANDE, Ore. - Eastern Oregon University's men's indoor track and field team recently broke into the top ten of the latest 2024 NAIA Men's Indoor Track & Field Rankings. With 82.35 total points, the team has made an impressive leap of 17 spots from the previous rankings, establishing itself as the ninth-ranked team in the nation and the top-ranked team in the West Region.
In addition to their impressive climb in the rankings, Eastern Oregon's men's indoor track and field team has been recognized for outstanding individual performances. The team recently swept the CCC Player of the Week honors, with TJ Davis and Tyler Jones earning accolades as Track Athlete and Field Athlete of the Week, respectively.
Eastern Oregon women's indoor track and field also checks in at No. 35Â in the rankings, making strides led by recently named CCC Track Athlete of the Week, Elizabeth Grandle.
The Mountaineers will travel to compete in the Whitworth Invitational this weekend, set to take place in Spokane at The Podium.
