Men's Indoor Track & Field Leads West Region with No. 20 National Ranking

NEW ORLEANS, La. - The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) revealed the first edition of the NAIA Men's Indoor Track & Field National Rating Index on Wednesday morning, placing Eastern Oregon at an impressive No. 20 in the nation.

Eastern Oregon emerges as the highest-ranked program in the West region, joining Multnomah Athletics as the sole representatives from the region in the Top-25 rankings. Multnomah finds itself positioned at No. 25 in the country.

Accumulating a total of 54.36 points, Eastern Oregon's excellence was reflected in the last weekend's Lauren McCluskey Memorial Open, where several Mounties' performances achieved record book status.

The rankings are unique in that they exclusively consider current marks from the ongoing 2024 Indoor Track & Field season, excluding any records from previous years. This objective approach ensures a fair and accurate representation of each program's current performance.
