LA GRANDE, Ore. – Eastern Oregon Baseball is back in action this weekend after having the previous week off. The Mountaineers head down the road on Interstate-84 to face rival college of Idaho for a second time this season, only this time around it will be a league series.

• The Mountaineers (9-30, 2-12 CCC) are not strangers to playing on the road and this will be their second time playing in Caldwell this season.
• Eastern Oregon 's series against College of Idaho will be their second to last one of the 2022 season.
• The Mounties will also look to snap a six-game skid when they head to Wolfe Field for their four-game series against the Yotes.
• Following this weekend's series, EOU will return home for the final time in 2022 next weekend for a four-game tilt against in-state foe corban University.

Last Time Out
• EOU fell in three games against then No. 4 Lewis-Clark State at home back April 8 and 9. The fourth game was postponed due to weather.
• The Warriors blanked the Mounties in the series opener, 7-0, on Friday. EOU was held to just four hits in the day one loss.
• Day featured a doubleheader that LC State swept to secure a series win. The Warriors won game two in seven frames, 18-3, before posting a 13-4 win in what was ultimately the finale.

• Earlier this season, EOU and c of I squared off in Caldwell, with the Yotes winning the series 3-1.
