CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Cascade Collegiate Conference announced its WVT Laboratory Players of the Week and Eastern Oregon University is on the list.

Garnering the weekly honor was Darrian Walker who was named the Outdoor Men's Field Athlete of the Week. He earned the award after an NAIA leading performance in the pole vault this past weekend.

Walker won the pole vault at the Lewis & Clark College Spring Break Open and hit an NAIA A qualifying standard to punch his ticket to Nationals. He cleared the bar at a height of 15-9 ¼. His mark was ahead of second by over a foot and is now the top mark in the NAIA. His mark is now fifth highest all-time in EOU history for the outdoor season.
