CORVALLIS, Ore. – EOU Women's Soccer enters the fall ranked third in the Cascade Collegiate Conference with 137 points in the preseason poll, trailing the College of Idaho and Oregon Tech. The Mounties are closely followed by Carroll College and Southern Oregon University.

Eastern Oregon ended last season with a 10-5-3 overall record. They're led by a strong back line with returning players: goalkeeper Madeline Barker and defenders Sydney Peck and Karina DeYoung. Head Coach Josh Goodman returns for his third season with a deep and experienced roster, including 26 returners and seven starters who are looking to build on last season's strong campaign. Last year, the Mountaineers defeated Southern Oregon in the CCC quarterfinals before eventually falling to Oregon Tech in an overtime semifinal.

Eastern Oregon kicks off its season with scrimmages against Columbia Basin CC and Spokane Colleges. NAIA play at Community Stadium is set for August 21 against Dordt University and August 29 against Doane University.
