CALDWELL, Idaho – Eastern Oregon University fell in both games of a Cascade Collegiate Conference doubleheader against College of Idaho on Saturday at Wolfe Field.

Zaylor Bruegeman came in for the save, pitching 1.1 innings with two strikeouts.

Shane Sinclair took the loss for the Mountaineers, allowing three runs (one earned) on five hits over six innings. Alex Farnsworth came in for two scoreless innings of relief, striking out three.

Eastern Oregon led 2-1 after the second inning, with Matthew Carlson hitting a solo home run and Rogelio Gonzales reaching on an error, scoring Danny Burns. However, the Coyotes answered in the fourth, with Chandler Stocking's single bringing in the tying run and Trevor Watkins' single driving in two more to take a 4-2 lead.
