LA GRANDE, Ore. - Eastern Oregon Volleyball delivered a dominant performance Friday afternoon, securing victories in all three sets against Walla Walla University. The stats illustrate EOU's dominance, with a team attack percentage of .437 compared to WWU's -.031.
In the first set, EOU displayed their offensive advantage with 11 kills on a .240 hitting percentage.
Alexis McMurtrey's service aces were instrumental in clinching a 25-9 win.
The second set was even more favorable for EOU as they surged to a quick 5-0 lead, piling on 16 kills with an impressive .609 hitting percentage. While WWU's Lauren Moody and Gabrielle Faamausili attempted to counter with two kills each, EOU's consistent offense resulted in a dominant 25-11 set win.
In the final set, EOU continued their dominant performance against WWU, winning 25-9.
Alexis McMurtrey was pivotal for EOU, delivering four service aces in rapid succession to help her team take an early lead.
Brooke Womack was effective on offense, tallying four kills.
Ashton Haughton and
McKenzie Jonas also made significant contributions, each recording three kills.
