LA GRANDE, Ore. – Mountaineers Baseball hits the road for the third consecutive week for a four-game series that will once again be against an in-state foe. On deck for Eastern Oregon is also another NCAA Division III opponent as the team will look to get back above .500.

• The Mountaineers (3-4) will play in their first two-day doubleheader tilt when they take on the Boxers this weekend.
• Eastern will look to snap a two-game skid and hopefully grab their first series win of the 2022 campaign.
• EOU enters the weekend one game under .500 and the team's contest against Pacific will be just their second series match-up of the young season.
• Following the four-game series with the Boxers, the Mounties will remain on the road and in Oregon for another four-game series next weekend against Western Oregon.

Scouting the Boxers
• Pacific enters the weekend series with a 2-1 record to start the year. The series against EOU will be the home opener for the Boxers.
• Brad Altomare leads the bats early on with a .429 average in three starts. He has one RBI and has scored two runs. He is slugging .714 entering the weekend.
• Ryan Krout is tied for second in batting average at .385. He leads the team with six RBIs and has already hit two home runs this season.
• Tyler Quinn is also batting .385 through three games and has second a second best five runs. Leading the way in runs scored is Krout with six.
• Andrew Thomas is tied for the team lead in homers with two as well and is batting .231 to start the year. He also has a team leading six RBIs.
• Will Clark has been the ace on the mound to start. He has a team leading 13 strikeouts in one game.
• Chance Wallace is second in strikeouts with six. CJ Coyler has a save on the year and a 0.00 ERA in 1.2 innings worked.
• Also tallying a save this year is Liam Cammall. He has pitched two complete and fanned two batters.
• Defensively, the Boxers have committed just four errors on the year. Offensively, the team is hitting a collective average of .279.
