KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Eastern Oregon University continues to knock on the door of the STADIONIC NAIA Men's Soccer Coaches' Top 25, receiving votes in the first regular-season edition of the poll, announced Tuesday morning.

The Mounties' appearance among teams receiving votes comes after also earning votes in the NAIA Preseason Coaches' Top 25 Poll, keeping EOU firmly in the conversation heading into the regular season. Eastern Oregon has used the preseason to prepare with four scrimmages before opening countable play this week.

The Mounties now turn their attention to the Midwest, where they will open their trip against No. 3 Indiana Tech on Sept. 3 before taking on RV Spring Arbor University (Mich.) on Sept. 5. The Mounties will then close out their preseason slate against the University of Northwestern Ohio on Sept. 7.

With three contests against strong NAIA competition on the horizon, the Midwest trip will provide an early test for Eastern Oregon as the Mounties look to build momentum before shifting their focus to Cascade Collegiate Conference play.

The next regular-season STADIONIC NAIA Men's Soccer Coaches' Top 25 Poll will be released Wednesday, Sept. 16.
