KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Eastern Oregon Women's Soccer continued to make its mark on the national scene, receiving votes in the latest STADIONIC NAIA Women's Soccer Coaches' Top 25 Poll.

Since the previous poll, the Mountaineers competed across Tennessee and Oregon, posting a 2-1-1 record. EOU opened its Tennessee trip with a 2-0 loss to No. 20 Cumberland University (Tenn.) before battling to a 3-3 draw against (RV) Tennessee Southern. The Mountaineers closed out the trip with a 1-0 victory over Bethel University before returning to Oregon, where they defeated Stanton University, 3-1, in a neutral-site matchup.

Through the early portion of the season, Cassidy Harding and Ashley Smith lead the Mountaineers with two goals apiece, while several other Mounties have each added one goal. In goal, Elysa Morse has appeared in four games, recording 12 saves with a .667 save percentage and a 1.50 goals-against average.

The Cascade Conference was also represented in the latest poll, with College of Idaho ranked No. 9 and Southern Oregon receiving votes.

With preseason play now complete, the Mountaineers turn their attention to Cascade Conference competition. EOU opens conference play at home this weekend, hosting Walla Walla University and Warner Pacific University.
