CORVALLIS, Ore. – Eastern Oregon Athletics was recognized among the top academic departments in the Cascade Collegiate Conference, earning
Presidents' Cup Academic Excellence status for the 2025-26 academic year as announced Wednesday morning by the conference office.
Eastern Oregon closed the year with an overall GPA of 3.44 and 75% Academic All-Conference selections.
The distinction is awarded to athletic departments that maintain a combined student-athlete grade-point average of 3.0 or higher across CCC championship sports while also having at least 60% of eligible student-athletes earn Academic All-Conference honors. To qualify for Academic All-Conference recognition, student-athletes must hold sophomore standing and maintain a minimum 3.2 GPA.
The Presidents' Cup Academic Excellence designation is the highest academic honor presented by the Cascade Collegiate Conference, recognizing departments that demonstrate exceptional achievement in the classroom.
