CORVALLIS, Ore. – EOU Men's Soccer enters the fall ranked third in the Cascade Collegiate Conference with one first-place vote and 141 points in the preseason poll, trailing Carroll College and Southern Oregon University. They are followed by Warner Pacific University and the College of Idaho.

Eastern Oregon ended last season as tournament champions with an 11-4-5 overall record. They're led by returners Rene Prieto, Daniel Kropf, and Pablo Cardenas-Sanchez. Head Coach Jessy Watson returns from a historic season with an experienced roster, including the majority of their starters, who are looking to build on last season's strong campaign. Last year, the Mountaineers earned their first-ever CCC Tournament Championship and made their deepest NAIA postseason run.

Eastern Oregon kicks off its season with scrimmages against Columbia Basin CC and Blue Mountain CC on August 22 at 3 p.m. and August 23 at 6:30 p.m. NAIA play begins on the road in Caldwell, Idaho, against Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University at 5 p.m.
