PARSONS EARNS NFCA FIRST TEAM HONORS

LOUISVILLE, Ky. Thirty-eight student-athletes from 28 different schools have been selected to one of two 2025 NFCA NAIA All-America teams, the Association announced Thursday afternoon.

Six of the 10 teams that advanced to the NAIA World Series had players receive All-America honors, including national runner-up Oklahoma City University. OCU tied with the University of Science & Arts of Oklahoma for the most All-America selections this season, with three players each.

The NFCA All-America teams are determined by the Association's All-America Committees. In the NAIA, the committee comprises one head coach from each of the six regions. All student-athletes nominated by a member head coach and selected to either the first or second All-Region teams were eligible for All-America recognition.

Kylie Parsons earned Second Team All-American honors earlier this week. She was also named First Team All-Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) and selected to the NAIA All-Tournament Team. During the regular season, Parsons was recognized twice as the CCC Pitcher of the Week and once as the NAIA Pitcher of the Week.

Parsons led the Mounties to a Cascade Collegiate Conference Tournament Championship and an 3rd place finish in the NAIA National Tournament. The senior finished the season with a 23-2 overall record, 165 strikeouts, and a 1.23 ERA over 171 innings pitched.
