KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced its
2026 NAIA Softball All-America teams, with Eastern Oregon's
Hope Burke earning recognition as a Third Team All-American.
Burke received an At-Large selection to the Third Team, marking the first All-America honor of her career. The senior capped off an outstanding season by adding the national accolade to an impressive list of honors, including Cascade Collegiate Conference Player of the Year, CCC Outfield Gold Glove recipient, First Team All-Conference, and NFCA All-Region Second Team recognition.
Burke also etched her name into the Eastern Oregon record book. She tied the program's single-season home run record with 14 and set a new single-season total bases record with 107. In addition, she established the school's career slugging percentage record at .724 and finished among the top five in multiple offensive categories.
At the plate, Burke hit .392 (58-for-148) while scoring 36 runs and driving in 53. She reached base an additional 31 times via walks and hit-by-pitches, contributing to a .486 on-base percentage and a .730 slugging percentage for the season.
Defensively, Burke was a standout in both right and left field. She recorded 48 putouts and two assists while committing just one error throughout the season, showcasing the consistency and reliability that made her one of the NAIA's top all-around players.
