LA GRANDE, Ore. – The Eastern Oregon University men's track & field team is ranked No. 8 in this week's U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) NAIA poll. The Mountaineers' women's team is ranked No. 25 in the latest rankings.

Both teams wrapped up a solid showing at the NNU Open and are now preparing for the CCC Multi-Event Championships and the Larry Byerly Invite. Each squad is ranked in three events and earned several top-10 finishes, including a first-place ranking in the steeplechase on the men's side and a third-place finish for the women in the 400-meter hurdles.

#8 - Men's High Jump

#3 - Women's 400 Meter Hurdles
#4 - Women's Javelin
#8 - Women's 100 Meters Hurdles

The CCC Multi-Event Championships are set for Thursday, April 17, through Friday, April 18, in Klamath Falls, Oregon, lasting all day. The rest of the squad will travel to Portland, Oregon, for the Larry Byerly Invite on Friday and Saturday, also lasting all day.
