FOREST GROVE, Ore. – Eastern Oregon multi-event athletes posted strong performances on the final day of the 2025 Pacific Multis, highlighted by Adrienne Washington's heptathlon victory and three top-five decathlon finishes for the Mountaineers.
Washington secured the heptathlon title with a total of 4,638 points, capping off her performance with a first-place finish in the 800-meter run at 2:28.32. She also took second in the long jump with a leap of 5.22 meters and placed second in the javelin throw with a mark of 37.89 meters.
On the men's side, Justin Krabbenhoft led the EOU decathlon squad with a second-place finish, totaling 6,617 points. He recorded top-three marks in multiple events, including a second-place discus throw of 34.18 meters, a third-place effort in the pole vault at 4.24 meters, and a third-place finish in the 110-meter hurdles at 16.17 seconds. Krabbenhoft also placed fourth in the 1,500 meters, crossing the line in 4:49.77.
Tyler Jones and Judson Mansfield rounded out the top five in the decathlon, finishing fourth and fifth, respectively. Jones compiled 6,256 points, highlighted by a fifth-place discus throw of 32.84 meters. Mansfield finished with 6,069 points, posting a time of 16.04 seconds in the 110-meter hurdles while placing second in the event. He also tied for third in the pole vault with a clearance of 4.24 meters.
