FOREST GROVE, Ore. – Eastern Oregon made a strong showing on the first day of the 2025 Pacific Multi, with Tyler Jones and Justin Krabbenhoft leading the decathlon standings, while Adrienne Washington sits in third in the heptathlon.

Jones set the pace in the decathlon, accumulating 3,743 points to claim first place after five events. The senior delivered standout performances, winning the high jump with an "A" standard mark (2.09m) and placing second in the 100m (11.02). Krabbenhoft is close behind in second place with 3,612 points, highlighted by an event win in the long jump (6.74m) and a second-place finish in the 400m (50.21). Teammate Judson Mansfield rounds out Eastern Oregon's decathlon efforts in ninth place with 3,099 points.

On the women's side, Washington positioned herself in podium contention in the heptathlon, ranking third overall with 2,677 points. The junior earned a personal best in the 200m (26.09) and added a solid showing in the high jump (1.55m) to bolster her first-day total.

Competition at the Pacific Multi concludes tomorrow as the Mountaineers look to maintain their strong position in the standings.
