GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Eastern Oregon University Track & Field wrapped up a successful showing at the 2025 NAIA Indoor Track & Field National Championships on Saturday, highlighted by Riley Morris earning All-American honors in the women's 1,000-meter run and Justin Ash setting a new program record in the men's 5,000-meter run.
Morris secured a seventh-place finish in the 1,000 meters with a time of 2:58.00, becoming the fifth Mountaineer to earn All-American status at the championships. Ash delivered a record-breaking performance in the men's 5,000 meters, clocking 14:35.65 to surpass the previous school mark of 14:36.00 set by DJ Flores in 2014.
In the overall team standings, the Mountaineer men finished 18th with 13 total points, while the women placed 35th with five points. Over the course of the three-day event, five Eastern Oregon athletes earned All-American honors: Riley Morris (women's 1,000 meters), Mark Church (men's weight throw), Adrienne Washington (women's pentathlon), Tyler Jones (men's high jump), and Justin Krabbenhoft (men's heptathlon).
