Men’s Soccer CCC Tournament Preview

LA GRANDE, Ore. – For the first time in program history, No. 23 Eastern Oregon University men's soccer finished the regular season undefeated, capturing the 2025 Cascade Collegiate Conference regular-season title and earning the No. 1 seed in the upcoming CCC Championship Tournament, set to begin Saturday, November 8, in Medford, Oregon.

The Mountaineers will face eighth-seeded Bushnell in the quarterfinals at 7 p.m. The winner will advance to the semifinals on Monday, November 10, with the championship match scheduled for Wednesday, November 12. All games will be held at the Lithia & Driveway Fields.

Under sixth-year head coach Jessy Watson, EOU is making its second consecutive and fifth overall appearance in the CCC Tournament, aiming to go back-to-back after winning the tournament as the No. 4 seed last season.

The Mounties wrapped up the 2025 regular season with a 13-0-4 overall record, including a 10-0-2 mark in conference play. EOU ranks second in the CCC in goals (40), fewest goals allowed (10), and shutouts (9), and is fourth in points (102).

Leading the offense, Marcos Bravo has scored 10 goals this season, ranking fifth in the conference, while Anthony Macedo and Henry Lopez share the team lead with seven assists each, tied for third in the CCC. On defense, Eastern's back line—anchored by Jacob Russell, Armando Castro, and Rene Prieto—has held opponents to a program-record low 130 total shots, with just 48 on goal. Goalkeeper Anthony Lemus ranks third in the CCC in goals allowed (8) and fourth in save percentage (.778).

The rest of the tournament field includes (RV) Carroll, Rocky Mountain, Warner Pacific, College of Idaho, Southern Oregon, and Oregon Tech.
