CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Cascade Collegiate Conference unveiled its 2025–26 Softball Preseason Poll on Thursday morning, with Eastern Oregon University projected to finish third. The Mountaineers earned 68 points in the poll, trailing Southern Oregon University (80) and Oregon Tech (71).
Eastern Oregon enters the new season following an outstanding 2024–25 campaign, finishing 38-11 while capturing their second consecutive CCC Tournament Championship, qualifying for Nationals, and advancing through the NAIA World Series Opening Round for the deepest postseason run in program history.The Mountaineers return a strong core of talent, highlighted by Newcomer of the Year

Kelly Monaghan. While the team will miss the presence of All-American pitcher

Lexi Grumbois, Alli Baumgart, and
Maliyah Mann—is expected to sustain the program's momentum and add valuable depth to the roster.
Eastern Oregon opens its 2025–26 season on Friday, February 6, at Central Washington University in Ellensburg, Washington.
