LA GRANDE, Ore. -  Four Eastern Oregon athletes have been recognized as Players of the Week in the Frontier and Cascade Collegiate Conferences. The Mountaineers' Quincy Glasper, Blaine Shaw, and Tanner Shattuck swept this week's Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Football Players of the Week awards, while Rylee Schei from the women's soccer team earned recognition in the Cascade Collegiate Conference. In addition to Shaw's conference recognition, the graduate defensive back was also named the NAIA Football National Defensive Player of the Week for his performance against College of Idaho on Saturday.

Offensive Player of the Week: Quincy Glasper

Senior quarterback Quincy Glasper, hailing from Stockton, California, was named Offensive Player of the Week after leading EOU to a thrilling 30-24 upset victory over 24th-ranked College of Idaho. Glasper ran 18 times for an impressive 203 yards, averaging 11.3 yards per rush, and capped off his performance with a 91-yard touchdown run in the first half. Additionally, he threw for 143 yards, including a 70-yard touchdown pass. This is Glasper's second career Frontier Conference Player of the Week honor.

Defensive Player of the Week: Blaine Shaw

Senior defensive back Blaine Shaw from La Grande, Oregon, earned both Frontier Conference and NAIA National Defensive Player of the Week honors with an outstanding performance against the College of Idaho. Shaw recorded 19 tackles, tying the fifth all-time single game mark in the Eastern Oregon Football record books. His showing included two tackles-for-loss and two recovered fumbles, one of which clinched the game with under a minute remaining. This marks Shaw's second career Frontier Conference Player of the Week award.

Special Teams Player of the Week: Tanner Shattuck

Senior kicker Tanner Shattuck of Bainbridge Island, Washington, was named Special Teams Player of the Week. Shattuck was flawless, going 3-for-3 on field goal attempts, including two crucial 39-yard field goals in the fourth quarter that secured EOU's 30-24 victory. Shattuck also played a key role in field positioning, pinning the Yotes twice inside their 20-yard line, with one punt landing at the 2-yard line. This is Shattuck's first career Player of the Week honor.

Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week: Rylee Schei

Junior goalkeeper Rylee Schei from Great Falls, Montana, was named the Cascade Collegiate Conference Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week. Schei kept two clean sheets over the weekend, as EOU shut out Multnomah University 1-0 and Warner Pacific University 3-0. She made seven saves over both games, playing every minute in goal.
