La Grande, Ore. - Eastern Oregon fell to Warner Pacific University 3-0 on Saturday in a home match at Community Stadium. Despite EOU's solid defensive effort in the first half, Warner Pacific capitalized on scoring opportunities to secure the win.
The Warner Pacific Knights opened the scoring with Pedro Calderon's goal at 42:02, giving them a 1-0 lead before halftime. Calderon's offensive prowess continued in the second half, where he added another goal at 77:25. Abe Fuchs contributed to the scoreline with a goal as well at 69:16.
The Mountaineers put up 13 shots, with four on target, but were unable to break through Warner Pacific's defense. EOU Jahrie Gray, Pablo Cardenas-Sanchez, and Edgar Romero-Perez each recorded two shots. EOU goalkeeper Anthony Lemus recorded six saves, five of which came in the first half, keeping the Mountaineers within striking distance until late in the game.
Both teams displayed disciplined play but saw cautions in the second half. Warner Pacific's Fuchs received a yellow card at 63:54, and EOU's Kyle Prusia was also cautioned at 85:18.

Eastern Oregon ends the regular season 7-2-4 and sits with 25 points. This is their best season since 2019, when they were 7-6 with 21 points. They look ahead to the conference tournament, having clinched a playoff spot. The CCC tournament will start Sunday, November 10, in Medford, Oregon. Opponent and game time will be released later this week.
