LA GRANDE, Ore - Eastern Oregon University Softball enters the Cascade Collegiate Conference tournament as the four seed and will take on the fifth seeded University of British Columbia Thunderbirds in the Opening Round. The CCC Softball tournament will be hosted by the regular season champions, Oregon Tech in Klamath Falls, Ore.

The Mountaineers have faced off with the Thunderbirds three times this season. UBC holds a slight advantage, taking two out of the three over EOU. The Mounties took the first matchup by a score of 9-1 in five innings before dropping their next two by a score of 2-1 in game two and 4-1 in game three.
