PRINEVILLE, Ore.- Eastern Oregon was back in action Wednesday night as they traveled to Prineville, Ore. to take on Southern Oregon in a Cascade Collegiate Conference dual. Southern outlasted the Mounties, taking the dual at a score of 31-18.

Eastern racked up three tech falls on the night against the Raiders. The first of which came in the 123 pound division by Paige Chafin as she took her match over Southerns Mia Bonotan 10-0 at the 4:25 mark of the match. The next came in the 130 pound division by Kaylee Moore as she took her match over the Raider's Jordynn Robson 12-2 at the 5:33 mark of the match. The final tech fall victory of the night was from the 155 pound division as Morgan Shines took her match over SOU's Averie Stockwell 14-1 at the 4:01 mark of the match. Eastern had one pin on the night from the 143 pound division as Liv Wieber pinned Southerns Sophie Keefer at the 1:09 mark of the match. Forfeits showed to be the difference for the Raiders as 20 of their 31 points were awarded on Mountaineer forfeits, propelling them to a 29-17 victory. 

Eastern will be back in action Saturday, Feb. 4 as they travel to Des Moines, Iowa to compete in the Grand View Open.
