Softball Series vs. Providence Moved to BMCC in Pendleton

LA GRANDE, Ore. – The Eastern Oregon softball team will have to wait for its official home opening series as the scheduled four-game series against Providence this weekend has been moved to be played at Blue Mountain Community College in Pendleton, Oregon due to field conditions.

Day and times for the four-game series against the Argos remain the same as EOU will host doubleheaders on Friday at 1 and 3 p.m. and Saturday at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Live stats will be available for the games, but live video will not be available. Admission to the games will be free.

The Mountaineers have started the season slowly in non-conference action, but get a fresh start on Friday with the beginning of the CCC year. Providence, on the other hand, has not played a game yet this year.

EOU's next home scheduled series will be in two weeks as they will host British Columbia on March 6 and 7 at Peggy Anderson Field
