EOU Softball Series Vs. Providence Moved to Pasco

LA GRANDE, Ore. – Due to inclement weather, Eastern Oregon softball's scheduled home series against the University of Providence has been moved from Peggy Anderson Field in La Grande to the campus of Columbia Basin College in Pasco, Washington.

The games will remain as scheduled on Friday and Saturday. Friday's doubleheader will begin at 2 p.m. and Saturday's games will start at 11 a.m. Pacific time. The first three games of the series will count in the Cascade Collegiate Conference standings.

This is the second home series this year that has been forced to be moved from La Grande due to weather. The Mountaineers played Corban in Salem March 9 and 10 due to snow.

The Mounties have three series remaining in the 2019 season as they vie for a postseason spot. EOU faces Providence this week, followed by a road series at Northwest Christian April 19 and 20. Then, the Blue and Gold will wrap up the 2019 regular season on April 26 and 27 at home for Senior Weekend.

Live stats will still be provided for all four games over the weekend. Admission to the games will be free.
