Softball Home Opener Moved to Blue Mountain CC

LA GRANDE, Ore. – The Eastern Oregon softball team's home opening series against Northwest Christian has been moved from La Grande to Pendleton, Oregon, to be played on the campus of Blue Mountain Community College.
 
Due to the recent snowfall in La Grande, Peggy Anderson Softball Field will not be ready for this weekend's games.  The games have also been moved back one day, with doubleheaders on Saturday and Sunday. Games will be played at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. both days.
 
The Mountaineers began conference play last weekend at Oregon Tech, falling in three of four games. The Mounties won game two of the series 3-1 behind a complete game pitching effort by senior Hailey Kline.
 
Tickets will not be sold for the games and admission will be free.
