Last Home Games
The Eastern Oregon University softball team will conclude its 2014 home schedule tomorrow when they play Walla Walla University. Games Start at 1 p.m. at Peggy Anderson Softball Field.
 
Conclusion of Suspended Game
The Mountaineers and Wolves will finish its game that was started on Tuesday, April 1, tomorrow before the scheduled doubleheader. EOU currently leads the Wolves 12-0 after three complete innings.
 
Scouting The Opponents
Walla Walla

The Wolves of Walla Walla come into the contest against the Mountaineers with a 0-3 record. In the last game for the Wolves, Walla Walla was defeated by Oregon Tech.  The Owls defeated the Wolves, 14-0 in game one and 11-0 in game two of the double header. Walla Walla managed two hits in the doubleheader.
Corban
Corban enters this weekend with a record of 21-17 and 8-12 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference. The Warriors broke a five game losing streak on April 12 when they swept the Eagles of Northwest. Corban defeated Northwest, 7-3, in game one and 13-5 in game two. Kyrianna Sorensen leads the Warriors offense as she is hitting .409 on the season. She tied for third on the team with five home runs on the season. Danielle Horne leads the Warriors on the mound as she has an ERA of 3.09 and a 4-1 record and two saves on the season. She has appeared in 13 games on the mound starting four.
Northwest Christian
The Beacons enter this week with a 7-22 overall record and 6-12 in CCC action. Northwest Christian is playing three conference doubleheaders this week, as they host Southern Oregon on April 15 before hosting College of Idaho and EOU. On the season the Beacons are hitting .261 as a team and are lead at the plate by Randi Kostner who is hitting .333. Kostner also leads the team in stolen bases as she has eight on the season. Parker Bonife leads Northwest Christian with four home runs on the season. Jill Suratt leads the Beacons on the mound with an 1.65 ERA and 46 innings pitched.
 
Hitting Streak
Brittnee Carman-Rice has hit safely in the five straight contests, which is the longest current streak for EOU. Prior to the start of the hitting streak, Carman-Rice was hitting .253 on the season. She has raced her average 0.40 points during the current hitting streak. Currently, she is hitting .293 on the season; her highest mark since March 14.
 
Last Weekend
The Mountaineers went 2-3 in its games last week. EOU started the week off with a 3-2 victory over Concordia. Eastern Oregon followed it up with an upset victory over No. 16 Oregon Tech, 6-4. After winning four straight, EOU dropped its last three of the week.
 
EOU at Home
This season the Mountaineers are 8-8 at Peggy Anderson Field. The Mountaineers look to finish above .500 at home for the first time since 2008 when the Mountaineers went 9-9 at home. Tuesday is the last home games of the season for EOU.
