Last Week
Last week the Mountaineers went 2-0 at the Quinn Classic. On Friday, claimed their fourth win of the season as they defeated Portland Bible College, 104-53, in the Mountaineers first game of the Quinn Classic. The Mountaineers were led by Bryan McGriff with 32 points, four rebounds, and one block. Case Rada contributed 18 points, five rebounds, and two steals. Michael Crane had a double-double on the night with 12 points and 11 rebounds. The next day, EOU  shot 53.4 percent from the floor en route to a 108-71 victory over Walla Walla University. De'Sean Mattox scored 30 points to lead the Mountaineers in scoring. He was seven-of-twelve from behind the arc. Bryan McGriff followed with 28 points.
 
Taco Bell Shootout
Eastern Oregon University heads to Caldwell, Idaho to participate in the Taco Bell Shootout this Friday and Saturday hosted by College of Idaho. The Mountaineers will open up action on Friday at 1 p.m. PT time against Walla Walla University. The Mountaineers conclude their games in the Taco Bell Shootout on Saturday at 4 p.m. PT against NAIA Division I Arizona Christian University.

Walla Walla
The Wolves of Walla Walla University enter the Taco Bell Shootout with a record of 0-4. The Wolves are averaging 59.3 points per game and are led by Tyreek Luckett, who is averaging 14.8 points per game. The Wolves played the Mountaineers last Saturday during the Quinn Classic and were defeated, 108-71.
Arizona Christian
The Firestorm of Arizona Christian University enters this weekend with a 1-0 record. Arizona Christians victory came over Saint Xavier (Ill.) on Oct. 31. The Firestorm won by a score of 103-86. Leading the way for the Firestorm is Brandon Newman who is averaging 32 points per game. Newman was 10-of-15 from the floor and 8-of-9 from behind the three point line. Arizona Christian opens up the Taco Bell Shootout on Friday Nov. 7 against College of Idaho at 7 p.m. MT.  
 
Top In the Nation
EOU sits atop the nation in several statistical categories. EOU leads the NAIA in total assists (115), total blocks (47), three pointers made (59), total scoring offense (332) and total rebounds offense (332). EOU falls just short as they ranked second in the nation in total rebounds per game (56.3) and offensive rebounds per game (21.7).
 
Next Home Game
The Mountaineers return home on Nov. 28 and Nov. 29 when they host Northwest Indian College.
 
What's Up Next
The Mountaineers return to action on Nov. 14 when they travel to Moscow, Idaho to face NCAA Division I University of Idaho in an exhibition contest. Tipoff is scheduled for 2:05 p.m.
