GREENWOOD, Ind. – Seven Eastern Oregon University student-athletes earned recognition in the 2025–26 Academic All-District Men's and Women's Basketball Teams, as announced Tuesday by College Sports Communicators (CSC). The award honors student-athletes who excel both academically and athletically, with all selections meeting a minimum 3.5 GPA while competing in the majority of their team's games.
Eastern Oregon's honorees include four from the men's program—
Logan Orchard,
James Bodily,
Keilan Torkornoo, and
Trent Rogers—and three from the women's team—
Kelsie Siegner,
Raquel Fehringer, and
Haylee Johnson.
On the women's side, Siegner, a senior guard from Crane, Oregon, played a key role in leading the Mountaineers to a 25–6 record and a conference co-championship. Starting all 30 games, she averaged 14.6 points and 8.9 rebounds per game while recording 52 blocks and 47 steals. Her standout performance earned her Defensive Player of the Year and First Team All-Conference honors.
Fehringer, a senior guard from American Falls, Idaho, also started all 30 games she appeared in and was instrumental in the team's success, shooting 43.0% from the field while leading the team with 64 assists and adding 13 steals.
Johnson, a sophomore forward from Kennewick, Washington, provided a strong presence off the bench, appearing in 30 games and averaging 19.5 minutes. She shot an efficient 52.7% from the field and totaled 148 rebounds and 13 steals.
The men's team posted a 22–9 record and also secured a conference co-championship, highlighted by several standout individual performances.
Bodily, a junior guard from Bancroft, Idaho, emerged as a scoring threat off the bench, appearing in 31 games and averaging 14.2 points per game. He shot 49.4% from the field, led the team with 75 three-pointers, and converted 85.5% from the free-throw line, earning First Team All-Conference honors.
Torkornoo, a junior forward from Saratoga Springs, Utah, started all 30 games he appeared in and averaged 6.7 rebounds per game while totaling 201 boards on the season. He added 27 blocks, led the team in that category, and recorded three 30-point performances along with three double-doubles, earning First Team All-Conference recognition.
Orchard, a sophomore guard from Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, started 30 of 31 games and led the team with 130 assists and 41 steals. He averaged 8.5 points per game and earned All-Conference Honorable Mention honors.
Rogers, a senior guard from Bozeman, Montana, started all 30 games he appeared in and was a highly efficient scorer, shooting 46.5% from the field and from three-point range while converting 85.2% of his free throws.
The Academic All-District Teams are selected by College Sports Communicators who recognize the nation's top student-athletes across four divisions – NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA – for each gender.
All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot, with Orchard, Bodily, Torkornoo, and Siegner selected as finalists. Academic All-America selections will be announced April 14, 2026 (Men) and April 16, 2026 (Women).
