Box Score 2 La Grande, Ore. – Host Eastern Oregon University Mountaineers fell to Oregon Tech Hustlin' Owls 3-9 and 1-13 at Peggy Anderson field this afternoon.
In the first game, the Hustlin' Owls (7-9, 0-4 CCC) would score in every inning except the first to give them a 9-3 victory over the Mountaineers.
Sophomore
Cassie Wendt led the Mountaineers at the plate going 2 for 3. Wendt, homered with a runner on base in her second at bat giving her 2 RBI's on the day. Junior
Mariebeth Watanabe went 1 for 4 with 1 RBI.
Oregon Tech was led by Shauna Collins, who went 3 for 5 with 2 RBI's. Taylor Schmidt went 3 for 4 at the plate with 1 RBI while Melissa Logan went 1 for 2 with 2 RBI's.
In game two, OIT jumped out to an early 6-0 lead and only allowed EOU a single run during the game as the Hustlin' Owls cruised to a 13-1 victory.
Wendt led the Mountaineers again going 1 for 3 from the plate with 1 RBI.

OIT's Jess Plumer went 1 for 2 at the plate with 4 RBI's while teammate Alyssa Davis went 2 for 3 with 2 RBI's.
