Box Score

La Grande, Ore. - The Eastern Oregon University softball team defeated University of Great Falls this evening by a score of 6-0.
 
The Mountaineers used a 4 run 5th inning to take a 5-0 lead into the final two innings.  Eastern was able to hold Great Falls scoreless  in the final two innings while recording 1 run in the sixth inning to take a 6-0 victory.
 
Katie Martell led the Mountaineers going 2 for 4 at the plate with 2 RBI's. Cassie Wendt went 2 for 4 at the plate with 1 RBI while teammate Sarah Jackson went 1 for 3 with 2 RBI's.  
 
Great Falls struggled offensively only recording two hits the entire game. Kelli O'brien and Keeley Van Blaircom each had one for the Argos.
 
The Mountaineers will play Great Falls again tomorrow in a double header.  Game time is set for 12 P.M. MT.
