Redding, Calif. - On the second and final day of the Simpson University tournament the Eastern Oregon University softball team went 2-1 adding two wins to their preseason record (5-1).

In their first game of the day EOU fell short against the University of British Columbia, 3-8. 

Eastern then came back to defeat Vanguard by a score of 7-4.  EOU ended the day with yet another win against Arizona Christian University 8-2.

The Mounaineers will play tomorrow at Shasta Community College in Redding, Calif.  EOU will play a double header against Menlo College at 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. before heading back to La Grande.
