Redding, Calif. – The Eastern Oregon softball team started their season off  a perfect 3-0 at the Simpson tournament.
 
The Mountaineers won their season opener today against Biola University by a score of 8-2. In their second game of the day Eastern defeated Menlo College 9-5.
 
The Mountaineers then played the tournament hosts Simpson University in their final game of the night defeating them 7-3.
 
The Mountaineers have three games tomorrow against the University of British Columbia, Vanguard University and Arizona Christian University game times are set for 9 a.m., 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m respectively.
