WOMEN'S QUICK HITS
* Eastern was named the Adidas team of the week last week
* The Mountaineers are #9 in NAIA Div. 2 in last week's coach's poll
* EOU is also ranked to win their conference in the Pre season polls this year.
* During the 2011-12 season, Eastern moved to No. 8 in the country. The ranking was the highest in program history.
* The Mountaineers ended their season in the NAIA Div. 2 National Tournament quarterfinals, the furthest the program has ever advanced in the national tournament.

THE SERIES
* The last time EOU played Evergreen was in 2012 where they deteated the Geoducks 54-53
* Eastern has played Evergreen 29 times, EOU leading the series 26-3
* EOU has scored a total of  1,874 points against the Geoducks.
* The Mountaineers first played Evergreen during their 1998-99 season where they defeated the Geoducks 59-24
* Northwest played EOU for the first time during their 1995-96 season where they fell to the Eagles by only five points, leaving the score 58-63
* The Mountaineers have scored a total of  2,682 points in the 37 games against Evergreen.
* EOU last played the Geoducks during their 20011-12 season where they defeated Evergreen three times. Eastern leads the series 29-8


MEN'S QUICK HITS
* EOU has had a 14-0 start this season, four wins past the best start in school history.
* Eastern is currently ranked 2nd in the NAIA Coaches' Poll for the second week in a row
* The Mountaineers are selected to finish second in the Cascade Collegiate Conference preseason coaches' poll and are currently ranked 2nd in the Nation on the coaches' poll
* Anthony Brown, Jason Mumm, Cody Thurmond, and Trent Roos have all been selected on the preseason poll to be on the all conference team.
* Eastern is ranked 1st in Division 2 in total rebounding margin and 2nd in total 3-pt field goals made and total rebound offense.
* EOU is currently ranked number 1 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference in scoring offense, scoring margin, field goal percentage defense, 3-pt FG percentage, offensive rebounds, total rebound margin, total assists, and  3-pt FG made.

THE SERIES
* Last year, the Mountaineers split with Southern (88-82, 77-80)
* Southern leads the series 89-75
* Eastern has scored a total of 12,336 points against the Raiders, allowing a total of 12,439.
* Their first meeting was during their 1937-38 season where the Mountaineers fell short the to Raiders by just four points 45-49
* OIT also leads in all-time series with Eastern leading 97-64
* Last year the Mountaineers fell in both games against OIT, they will be looking to avenge a 7-game lose streak against the Hustlin' Owls.
* Their first meeting was during their 1950-51 season where the Mountaineers won two out of the three meetings in that season.
* The Mountaineers have scored a total of 11,879 points against the Hustlin' Owls.
